April Cameron is the mother hen of Anderson Magazine. She had the dream and desire to create a magazine to share all of the good news about Anderson County, and so she did. April serves as the Publisher and Editor.
April comes from a background of marketing, public relations and journalism. Born and raised in South Georgia, April came to Anderson nearly 11 years ago and has immersed herself in the community that she has grown to love, appreciate and enjoy.
As the past president of the Junior League of Anderson County, April got very involved in charitable organizations in the county. She now works with Meals on Wheels-Anderson, is a member of the Kiwanis Club of Anderson and a graduate of Leadership Anderson.
When April isn’t finding the next great story about Anderson County, she is usually running the taxi for her son Cooper to some ball field or for her daughter Avery to either a horse barn or a volleyball court. You can also see her frequently sipping on a glass of red wine while trying to get an obnoxious amount of pet hair off of her clothes from Georgia, the stray cat who hit the jackpot, or Miller, the pound puppy who found his forever home.
Hannah McCullough is the “face girl” for Anderson Magazine serving as the Advertising Sales Director. She is a native of Anderson, was educated in the local public school system and graduated from the College of Charleston.
She enjoys working with children and spent time as a camp counselor and in preschool administration. Additionally, Hannah enjoys giving back to the community and is currently the President-Elect of the Junior League of Anderson County.
When she’s not helping the businesses in Anderson County promote themselves in Anderson Magazine, she enjoys reading, traveling, cooking & baking and spending time with friends and family. She is also an independent consultant for Rodan & Fields and has great skin to prove it. If Hannah ever takes time to relax, you can likely find her with her favorite companion, Milly May, a Boykin Spaniel.
Jennifer Walker is the creative genius behind Anderson Magazine and has been a graphic designer for more than 18 years. She has worked with a variety of publications including magazines and newspapers and also has a marketing business designing logos, advertisements, letterhead and more.
As a graduate of Anderson College, Jennifer began her career by working for Belk’s corporate office and the BI-LO corporate office before leaving to pursue a freelance graphic design career. She is married to Jeff, and they have two daughters, Samantha and Alex. The most recent addition to the Walker family is a rapidly growing Doberman named Cinder.
A past president of the Junior League of Anderson County, Jennifer now stays involved in the community by volunteering at her children’s school and at Meals on Wheels-Anderson.
Jennifer lives “in the country” where she enjoys reading, cooking and making crafts with the girls. She is also the owner of an online gift business, JW Gifts – personalized and unique gifts.
