Anderson is unmatched when it comes to a good time and some southern hospitality. Let’s look into some restaurants and bars that allow your furry friends to come along for the ride!

Growler Haus
313 N Main St
Anderson, SC 29621

Growler Haus is a pet-friendly bar located in Anderson SC that has been in business since 2012. Growler has a large selection of alcohol, serving something suitable for anyone’s palette. The environment of Growler is very friendly and the staff is welcoming. All customers, new and old, are made to feel like regulars, which makes the overall bar experience comforting and enjoyable. Ellis Martin, the Social Media Manager and Event Planner for Growler Haus, even went as far as to describe the environment as similar to the 1982 sitcom, Cheers. The Staff is more than willing to suggest beers or other alcohol for you to try and the regulars are friendly as can be!

As for our furry friends, Growler offers leashed dogs water and treats as soon as they arrive. Martin says that dogs’ presence in the bar only improves its welcoming environment and atmosphere. By keeping their door open to pets, Growler hopes to create a comfortable, positive experience for all customers, even those with paws.
