On November 11 every year, we celebrate Veterans Day, honoring military veterans of the United States Armed Forces. One very special veteran in our community is Jeremiah Palmer. A member and Chaplain of Vets Helping Vets of Anderson, SC and Chaplain for Military Order Purple Heart, Mr. Palmer has served and is serving as chaplain in several organizations and military positions. He serves as Pastor at New Broadmouth Baptist Church, and has a lifetime of demonstrating service to others, both for our country and local community. He was a past Junior Commandant and Chaplain at US Marine Corps League Detachment 1106. In addition to his service in the military and as a pastor/chaplain, he was employed by the US Postal Service for a number of years. A big thank you goes out to Jeremiah Palmer for his service, as well as all the other veterans of our community!
