Carmichael has been dabbling into things that are best left alone since he was 17, like ghosts, UFOs, monsters and other strange and unusual things. He has seen, heard, and felt things that defy explanation. In Carmichael’s 7th book Mysterious South Carolina, Carmichael returns home to South Carolina for more of the strange and unusual. In Carmichael’s 10th book Mysterious Georgia Carmichael takes a look at the strange and unusual happenings in Georgia, Carmichael has traveled throughout the United States visiting haunted locations including Roswell New Mexico.
He has also traveled to Mexico and Central America researching the Mayan Ruins. He plans to continue visiting these unusual places for many years to come. Carmichael worked as a journalist for many years, 30 years as a photographer, 30 years in law enforcement and 12 years in the movie entertainment business.
