Young Philanthropists

United Way of Anderson County’s Young Philanthropists are a passionate group of 20-45 year-old men and women who desire to be leaders and change-makers in our community.

The YPs represent the next generation of leaders and philanthropists in Anderson County who will use their time, talent, and treasure to change the odds for families in our community. They seek to build relationships and cultivate leaders and philanthropists from diverse communities to strengthen the entirety of our county.

We recognize that everyone’s situation is different, and the ability to make financial contributions varies greatly from year to year, as one grows in their career, has children, deals with health issues, or countless other financial constraints. But YPs are proud to step up to the challenge to financially support United Way of Anderson County and its Community Impact Agenda.

As a Young Philanthropist, you can look forward to:

  • Serving our community through regular volunteer opportunities.
  • Connecting with like-minded peers to expand your network and give back to our community.
  • Learning about our area’s most pressing challenges and the ways in which you can help address them through philanthropy and service.
  • Developing your professional skills through regular development opportunities.
